DeLand One is an internal project by Ember Studios, built to help DeLand residents stay connected to the community they call home. It brings together local events, news articles, restaurants, businesses, places to explore, weather, and more in one beautifully designed, easy-to-use app. Our built-in AI makes discovering DeLand even easier. Simply type what you’re looking for or ask a question, and it helps you find relevant events, news, and local places. The experience is also available through a website, so people can browse and share content without needing to download the app. At its heart, DeLand One is about creating something meaningful for our hometown—helping people know what’s happening, discover something new, and feel more connected to DeLand.
CalBud AI — AI Calorie & Macro Tracker
Traditional calorie tracking is time-consuming, requiring users to search large food databases, estimate portions, and manually enter every meal. Ember created CalBud AI to make nutrition tracking faster, easier, and more sustainable through artificial intelligence. Ember built the complete iOS and Android application, customer-facing website, subscription system, and administrative platform. CalBud uses AI-powered image recognition to identify food and estimate calories and macronutrients from a photo, while also supporting barcode scanning, nutrition-label scanning, food search, progress tracking, hydration and weight logs, accountability groups, and personalized AI coaching. The result is a comprehensive wellness platform that transforms meal tracking from a repetitive chore into a quick, intuitive experience—helping users stay consistent, better understand their nutrition, and make more informed decisions about their health.

Patriots Lawn Care
Designed and developed a complete digital platform for Patriots Lawn Care. The public site features a high-converting quote-request flow with optional photo upload, preferred contact method, and best time to contact — giving the team everything they need before the first call. A customer testimonials section with photo lightbox builds trust through real client reviews and project photos. Behind the scenes, an admin dashboard distinguishes residential vs commercial quote requests from general contact inquiries, manages testimonials with one-time owner replies, and triggers branded email notifications for every lead.
